Between 2019 and 2026 I worked primarily as a freelance wedding, portrait, music and event photographer. While I don't really take many bookings these days - other than the occasional theatre booking, or weddings for friends - I'm really proud of a lot of this work, and wanted to keep some of my favourite images on display.

I built my business around the core principles of inclusion and affordability. Community was (and still is!) central to my practice; much of my work aimed to prioritise local, especially marginalised, communities, usually within Bristol but occasionally beyond, and particularly from the LGBTQ community. The images below reflect these principles.

 

My images have always been very natural and documentary-like in style; I love photographs which feel authentic, where people are lost in a moment of emotion or caught up in an expression of creativity. Ultimately my approach to professional photography was collaborative, informal and full of respect; above all I have always wanted my images to celebrate people for who they are and what they do.​
